Honeymoon Israel Trip ~ Day 7

Day seven was a very long day.  Probably the longest and fullest day of the trip.  We started very early traveling to Tsfat to learn about spirituality, art and the Kabbalah.  The day progressed from there and included a jeep ride, a mountaintop view of Syria, wine tasting, and ended with a bonfire and dancing.

The craziest part of this day was peering into Syria from Mt. Bental and seeing bombs exploding in a Syrian border town.  It was literally about five to ten miles away from us.  I was so thankful to be living in a country where we are not dealing with the reality of bombing on a daily basis.

One of the funniest moments on this day occurred at the bonfire when Greg and David were strongly encouraged to get up and do the watermelon dance for all of us.  We all really needed a good laugh by this point in the day, and we much appreciate their willingness to not be offended by our laughter.
