Last Day of School 2016

May 26th was a big day for both Madilyn and Aiden.  It was Madilyn's last day as a kindergartner at BASIS Central Phoenix.  And it was Aiden's last day at Anderson Preparatory Academy. I cannot believe how much a kid can grow and change in just a school year.  She is becoming quite the big girl.  After one year in kindergarten, she can read level two books.  She can add and subtract two digit numbers.  She can write full sentences with punctuation and capital letters.  She is becoming more confident and quite the creative artist.  I am so excited to see how much more she flourishes in first grade.  Madi and Ms. Arnold  Mommy and Madi Final Grading Period Grades Then, there is Mr. Man.  What a difference almost five years makes!  He has grown up so much.  He is sweet and caring, but also feisty and rambunctious.  Academically, Aiden is ready for kindergarten. Aiden's Pre-K Graduation

Last Friday, Aiden graduated from Anderson Preparatory Academy preschool.  It was a pretty special graduation for our family.  It was our last preschool graduation.  We started attending APA as a family when Aiden was six months old, and now, he will be attending BASIS Phoenix Central in August. We have really enjoyed our time at APA.  These special teachers have become a part of our family. They have helped our children to grow into the little people they are today.  They educated them. They nurtured them.  They disciplined them.  They created special memories for them.  And most of all, they loved them.  And our kids loved them back.  We will miss our APA family, but excited for the next chapter of our kids' lives. The APA graduation ceremony was beautiful.  It was full of smiles and tears, singing and dancing, diplomas and scholarships, karate kicks and jumping jacks and most of all really proud parents and teachers.  Th...

Egg Hunt at APA

About a week before Easter, Anderson Preparatory Academy had their Egg Hunt for all of the kids. It will be Aiden's last egg hunt at APA. I cannot believe how fast time flies.  Here is a photo of Aiden from his APA first egg hunt in 2012. This year, as one of the oldest kids, he was so excited to grab as many eggs as he possibly could.  He was so speedy that I didn't even get that many photos of him.  We are so lucky that APA does all of these great "extras" for the kids.  So.much.fun!
