 August marked the start of a new school year and was filled with family time, celebrations, and opportunities for growth. Here’s a look back at the highlights of this memorable month: Back to School This month, Madilyn began her journey as a freshman (or freshwoman!) at Xavier College Preparatory. Transitioning from her district middle school to Xavier brought some adjustments, but she has embraced the change beautifully. Madilyn quickly joined several clubs, expanding her social circle and creating new friendships. She even enjoys wearing her school uniform, pairing it with her signature hoodie—a wardrobe choice she sticks with, no matter how high the temperatures climb above 100°F! Aiden returned to school as an 8th grader, ready to tackle the challenges of his final year at Mountain Sky Junior High. His enthusiasm and readiness for the new school year set the tone for success. A Recap of August 2022

August is a bittersweet month.  It means that summer is coming to an end, but it is also filled heartwarming celebrations, new beginnings and connections to family and friends we haven't seen all summer.  This August proved to be filled with all of those things and more.  This August we also had crazy monsoon weather which created some unexpected challenges.  But, despite those challenges, we still had amazing memories that will be forever etched in our hearts. Cousin Time with Mina The month started with a splash as we enjoyed some much-awaited cousin time with Mina. The kids were able to spend some time with their cousin.  They swam, shopped with Grandma, enjoyed a movie night, and a fun sleepover.  I am so glad the kids created lasting memories with their cousin that will be cherished for years to come.
