June 2024

June was a month of growth, travel, and heartfelt goodbyes for our family. Between summer school, lacrosse tournaments, and a national conference, the month was packed with meaningful experiences and memories. Here’s a look back at everything we did: Madilyn and Aiden’s Summer Studies Madilyn started her journey at Xavier College Preparatory by attending their summer school program. Pre-Algebra was a requirement of her acceptance, and she tackled it with determination. It was a great opportunity for her to get a head start and become familiar with her new school. Meanwhile, Aiden participated in Brophy College Preparatory’s Summer Enrichment program. He balanced his time between a High School Placement Test (HSPT) prep course, weight training, and robotics. Aiden’s curiosity and enthusiasm for learning were evident, and he’s excited about applying what he learned as he prepares for 8th grade. A Recap of August 2022

August is a bittersweet month.  It means that summer is coming to an end, but it is also filled heartwarming celebrations, new beginnings and connections to family and friends we haven't seen all summer.  This August proved to be filled with all of those things and more.  This August we also had crazy monsoon weather which created some unexpected challenges.  But, despite those challenges, we still had amazing memories that will be forever etched in our hearts. Cousin Time with Mina The month started with a splash as we enjoyed some much-awaited cousin time with Mina. The kids were able to spend some time with their cousin.  They swam, shopped with Grandma, enjoyed a movie night, and a fun sleepover.  I am so glad the kids created lasting memories with their cousin that will be cherished for years to come.
