Since we loved the house that we rented in Puerto Penasco for New Years so much, we decided to visit it again when for the Martin Luther King weekend in mid-January.  Our friends the Feldmans and their twin girls joined us this time.  The weather was so much better than when we previously visited, so the kids enjoyed some fun time on the beach and in the pool/jacuzzi.  It was a fantastic time full of swimming, beach adventures, dancing, Pinochle, Margarita's amazing cooking and relaxation. What a great little vacation spot we have found! For the second year in a row, our family decided to ring in the new year relaxing in a rental house on the beach in  Puerto Penasco, Mexico.  The Raetz family joined us on this adventure again this year.  We rented a four bedroom house located north of Sandy Beach in Rocky Point.  It included a hot tub, a swimming pool, fire pit, and was just steps away from the sand and ocean.  Unlike the weather last year, it was extremely cold this year.  Thus, we did not utilize the beach as much as we had liked, but we still found enough activities to keep us occupied and content.  The rental also included a daily house cleaner, whom we could have cook for us for an extra fee.  Margarita was amazing and became a very special little part of our trip.  The kids enjoyed a pillow fight with her and  I, personally,  loved practicing my Spanish with her.   She thoroughly loved cooking for us and the kids.   We just placed our o...
