Girls Night Out ~ Circus Acrobatics

In mid-September, I was invited out for a girls' night out with some of my friends from Temple Kol Ami.  We spent a majority of our evening at Circus School of Arizona learning various circus skills and apparatuses including the trapeze, silks, and the lyra.  It was so much fun.  I really enjoyed the silks the most.  I definitely have a new found appreciation for circus artists.  These skills are not easy to do and they make them look seamless and painless.  After circus school, we all migrated over to the restaurant Parma for dinner.  It was a very different and fun night out! Labor Day 2019

After the craziness of traveling back and forth from California in July and August, we decided to stay home for Labor Day.  We enjoyed swimming and relaxing in our pool.  We also had the opportunity to spend Saturday night with my parents playing cards.  The kids are getting quite good at Hearts.   During the day on Sunday, we had a couple of families over for a barbecue and pool time.  It was a very low key weekend that allowed us to recharge before going back to school and work on Tuesday.
