This year, we celebrated Passover on night one and two with a seder meal. Night one's seder was enjoyed at home with a very low-key, non-traditional seder. Night two, on the other hand, was much more traditional. We enjoyed celebrating it with our friends, the Feldmans, at their home. Pete really went all out. The meal was superb and the haggadah allowed us to embrace our Jewish roots. Plus, who doesn't love ending a Passover seder meal with a dance party!
Each seder evening was special for a different reasons. But each night embodied and reminded us of the true lessons of the holiday. Family (by blood or choice) is important. Freedom cannot be taken for granted. We must embrace challenges and learn from them. It's important to ask questions. And practice gratitude daily. Chag sameach!
