September 2023

September was a month of togetherness, progress, and reflection for our family. From meaningful gatherings to exciting steps in our home renovation, here are the highlights of the month:

Swimming and Socializing with the Gagniers

We spent some wonderful afternoons with the Gagniers (Eric, Dani, Muse, and Sailor). The kids splashed and played in the pool, while the adults enjoyed lively conversation and laughter. These moments of connection reminded us of the joy of slowing down and sharing time with friends.

House Renovation Progress

The house renovation continued to move forward in exciting ways this month. Framing and headers for the doors were completed, bringing our vision closer to reality. We picked out cabinets, flooring, and granite—each decision adding a personal touch to the space. The installation of the fireplaces was another big milestone, and seeing them in place brought a sense of warmth and anticipation for cozy family nights to come.

Rosh Hashanah with the Pattees and the Arkos

We welcomed the Jewish New Year by spending Rosh Hashanah with the Pattees and the Arkos. The evening was filled with laughter, music, and delicious food. The kids swam and danced under the stars while the adults enjoyed a relaxed and celebratory atmosphere. It was a beautiful way to reflect on the year past and set intentions for the year ahead.

Peaceful Shabbat Moments

Amid the busyness of life, we found time to embrace the peace of Shabbat. These moments of rest and reflection allowed us to pause, connect, and appreciate the simple joys of family togetherness. Lighting the candles and sharing meals brought a sense of calm and gratitude to our home.

Reflecting on September

September was a month that balanced activity and introspection. From the hustle of home renovations to the joy of community and the tranquility of Shabbat, it was a time to appreciate both progress and presence. As we move into the fall, we carry these cherished memories and look forward to the adventures ahead.
