March was a busy and exciting month for our family. Here are some of the highlights from our activities and special moments. Read Across America Day: Every year, Lookout Mountain Elementary School celebrates Read Across America Day on March 2nd, honoring Dr. Seuss's birthday. This year, the excitement was palpable as the kids dressed up as their favorite characters from Dr. Seuss’s beloved books. Aiden chose to be the iconic Cat in the Hat. He looked absolutely adorable in his red and white striped hat and bow tie. The day was filled with reading sessions, themed activities, and a special assembly where teachers read their favorite Dr. Seuss books. The whole school buzzed with a love for reading and imagination. Madilyn's Cheer Competition in Las Vegas: Madilyn’s cheer competition with the Arizona Prestige Cheer team took us to Las Vegas, an exciting destination for a big event. We stayed at the Westgate Hotel and Casino, which was buzzing with cheerleaders and their families.
