Experiencing Shabbat in Jerusalem was one of my favorite days. Jerusalem is so ancient and yet so beautiful. My absolute favorite part of this day occurred standing on the rooftops of the Old City. Raz was educating us about the history of Jerusalem when all of a sudden he was interrupted by the religious sounds of Jerusalem -- the Muslim pray to call started, the Christian church bells began to ring and all of the prayers and songs for Shabbat could be heard all at once. I gave me goosebumps. What an experience! Below is a video so that you can share in the sounds that we heard that day.
