2 Months Old

Last week, our precious little boy reached the 2 month mark.  He is growing so fast.  I recently took him in for his well baby check-up.   The visit went very well even thought Aiden wasn't too happy.  Below are his stats and some photos from that day.
  • Weight: 12 pounds, 12 ounces (71st percentile)
  • Height: 23" (63rd percentile)
  • Head Circumference: 15.25cm (50th percentile)
Unlike his sister, he is not as cooperative as she was in the sleeping through the night arena.  We still haven't quite been able to get him on a good nighttime schedule.  I thought that we had finally figured it out this past weekend.  He was able to go to bed at around 8pm sleep until about 2pm and then go back to bed until 6am.  Not too bad.  However, the past couple of night's sleep have not gone as smoothly.  He has been getting up more than just the one time for a feeding.  It is making a very tired Mommy and Daddy.

Besides being a night owl, our little man is a very good baby.  A pretty happy child except when he is hungry, tired or has a wet diaper.  He loves to smile and is beginning to "talk" with me.  It just makes my heart melt.

How is the big sister managing?  Well, Madi loves her little brother.  She is becoming quite the "little mommy".  She brings him his pacifier and blankets.  She insists on holding the bottle with me when he is feeding.  She pushes him in his swing (sometimes a little too much).  When he cries, she turns to me and says "Uh-oh".  She loves to play with him on his playmat.  In fact, I found her completely lying on top of her brother while he was on his playmat.  He wasn't crying so I guess he didn't mind.  I have a feeling that he will one day reciprocate that particular action.

Happy, Happy, Happy -- Not So Happy
