Aiden started at BASIS Central Phoenix this year as a kindergartner. He is doing very well. School work seems to come very easy to this second child. His favorite subject his year is engineering and we have enjoyed the monthly family STEM projects. As a family, we have built a shield for Aiden to wear and a drum made out of cans for him to play. For both period one and two, Aiden qualified for the 90's Club. This means that he averaged at least a 90% average or better for each of the periods. Hopefully he can finish the rest of the year just as strong. Way to go, Aiden!

Madilyn is a first grader this year. As a first grader, she is learning so much. It amazes me how much better her reading and writing has improved in just a short couple of months. She has several different Subject Expert Teachers (SETs) for all of the different courses she studies like Mandarin, Art, STEM, Humanities, Drama, Connections, Kenpo/PE, Music and Engineering. Her favorite subjects are Art and Mandarin. She also loves to read and is finally reading chapter books, which makes her so excited. Madilyn also qualified for the 90's Club for period one and two. Math has been a tough subject for her, so far, but she continues to study and practice for her timed test and it seems to be paying off. So proud of her hard work!
