Alisha and Josh's Wedding

Spring is a perfect time for new beginnings.  And there is no greater new beginning than saying "I do" and committing one's love and support for each other formally.  On April 20th, in front of family and friends, Alisha Landers and Josh Bjerknes were married at sunset.  It was a beautiful ceremony and we were honored to be a witness and supporter on their big day.

Both of my kids participated in the ceremony.  Madilyn as the flower girl and Aiden as the ring bearer.  Josh, my husband, also participated as the officiant.  His script was poignant and sincere, while his delivery allowed for a spattering of humor.  He reminded the couple that "a good marriage must be built on the foundation of this commitment and that in marriage, the 'little' things are the big things."  After the exchange of vows, a wedding kiss, he presented the crowd with Mr. and Mrs. Bjerknes.

After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed playing yard games, photo booth pictures, dancing, a food truck dinner of hamburgers and french fries, and homemade desserts.  What a perfect way to celebrate the new couple!

Alisha and Josh, a little toast to you:  Here's to new beginnings!  This is just the first of many.  Wishing you joy, love and happiness on your wedding day and as you begin your new life together.
