Couples Wine Weekend ~ May 2021

For the Memorial Day weekend, Josh and I escaped to one of our happy places ~ the Santa Ynez Wine Region. We did a couples' weekend with our friends, Jackie and Richard. The first couple of days were spent in Solvang and its surrounding wine country. We enjoyed wine tasting at some of our wine club vineyards like Roblar, Laetitia and Tolosa. And, we tried some new wineries like Peake Ranch Winery and Rancho Sisquoc. Our mornings were spent playing tennis and eating Danish pastries. While we consumed rich and decedent meals at night. We stayed in Santa Barbara for the last afternoon and evening of our trip. We spent the afternoon bar hopping while watching the Suns beat the Los Angeles Lakers. That was fun! Although, we did receive many dirty looks as we were the only Suns fans cheering very loudly among all of the Lakers fans. We topped off our last night with a nice meal at The Lark. What a wonderful weekend away!
