Fall Festivities

As the December holidays quickly approach, I realize how quickly fall flew by.  Fall in Phoenix is one of my favorite times of the year.  It is the time of year when we can leave the windows open all day.  Madilyn can play outside without her parents dripping with sweat after a couple of minutes.  The days are a little shorter, but the sunsets are even more beautiful.  Plus, it includes is my birthday month.  What could be better?

To kick off our fall festivities this year, we, along with our friends, the Raetz family, decided to take a trip to Schnepf Farms' Pumpkin & Chili Party.  Schnepf Farms is long-time family owned farm located out in Queen Creek.  This farm was fun packed with tons of things to do.  There was a corn maze, a petting zoo, a train ride, amusement rides, a children's play area, a pig race track, and a pumpkin patch.  Overall, it was a fun experience, but we may wait to visit it again until the kids can really appreciate the pumpkin patch and some of the other activities.
