Annual Santa Photo

Earlier this month, we attended "Santa at the Falls" at the Pointe Tapatio with our friends the Richards.  It was a very fun event.  The resort's pool area is transformed into a “Winter Wonderland”. The Pointe provided plenty of festive holiday treats and hot cocoa to sip on while our kids were able to participate in arts, crafts, and games at various holiday activity booths.

Th highlight of the evening was Santa's visit.  He arrived in style on a firetruck and was escorted to his chair so all of the children would have the opportunity to take a photo with him.  As we stood in line to take pictures with Santa, Madilyn was so excited to see him.  She talked about Santa the entire time.  She wanted to tell him that she wants Mickey Mouse for Christmas.  The closer we inched up to Santa, the more excited Madilyn became.  We really thought this year Madilyn would be happy so sit on Santa's lap and visit with him.  We were so wrong ... neither of our kids were very thrilled.

I absolutely *love* this photo!

Go Jewish and forget Santa... They don't seem to like him, anyway!

Jenn, that is great. We have a pic of Michaela at 18 months with a similar look, but this is better. I just laughed out loud. Thanks for sharing.

That is amazing! What a treasure! That will be one of those "go-to" pick-me-ups that will instantly put a smile on your face for the rest of your life. So dramatic with the arms outstretched. *sigh* aren't children wonderful.
