September 2022

As we reflect on the memories we've made in September 2022, it's incredible to think of all the experiences we've shared as a family. This month was packed with meaningful events, laughter, and treasured traditions that brought us closer together.
Labor Day with the Briggs-Calhouns
September started with a bang as we spent a delightful Labor Day with our neighbors, the Briggs-Calhoun family. The sun graced us with its warmth as we fired up the grill and enjoyed a barbecue that was as much about good food as it was about creating lasting bonds with those we hold dear.
Cheering for Our Local Teams
Our family's enthusiasm for sports took center stage this month as we cheered on two of Arizona's pride and joy: the Diamondbacks and the Phoenix Rising. Whether it was the crack of the bat or the excitement of a goal, we were united in our support for these teams that bring our community together.
School Picture Day
Both of the kids' schools held their picture day in September. Seems like they both were able to maintain good hairstyles and smiles until their turn. Looking good kids!
Aiden's Soccer Adventures with Friends
Watching Aiden hit the soccer field with his friends Bryson and Graham was a heartwarming sight. The camaraderie between the three was evident, as they chased the ball with energy and passion, reminding us of the power of friendship and shared interests.
Jenn's Sedona Journey
Jenn's journey to Sedona for the exclusive producer round table hosted by Banner|Aetna was an experience to remember. The opportunity to share insights, learn, and even reconnect with her professional rival, Tammy Kennedy, was an insightful blend of competition and camaraderie.
Embracing Tashlich in Sedona's Beauty
One of the month's most profound experiences was our camping trip to Sedona, where we observed the Jewish tradition of tashlich. Surrounded by the stunning red rock landscapes, we hiked, enjoyed Slide Rock, and participated in the symbolic act of casting away our shortcomings in the waters of Oak Creek.

Celebrating Rosh Hashanah with Loved Ones

The month culminated in a heartwarming Rosh Hashanah celebration with the Pattee and Goldsand families. We joined together, sharing round challah, apples dipped in honey, and stories from the past year. The sense of unity and the hope for the future filled our hearts with gratitude.
