Resort Recreations in Punta Cana

Our week in Punta Cana was spent mostly relaxing beachside.  But we also found time to enjoy the many of the activities, restaurants and amenities of our resort.  

The kids favorite activity during the trip was the resort's Explorers Club.  This is a fully supervised kids club that offers tons of fun activities for the kids to do all day.  The kids loved it!  They literally wanted to be at "the club" from morning to night for most of the trip.  Here are some of the fun activities the kids were able to enjoy:

While the kids were having fun at the Explorers Club, the adults visited the spa one afternoon for couples' massages.  It was a nice indulgence.

Most nights, we enjoyed happy hour in the Preferred Lounge with the kids before they would return back to the Explorers Club for dinner and their night activities.  The Explorers Club would shut down every evening from 5:30pm to 6:30pm so the kids could shower and the teachers could get a break.  Plus, it meant that we would, at least, get to see the kids once a day!

One of the perks of an all-inclusive resort is all of the food options.  There were seven restaurants for us to choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  A couple of them were buffet style while the others were menu driven.  We did persuade the kids to eat with us a couple of nights before heading to the Explorer's Club.
