We departed Disneyland/California Adventure on Wednesday morning to eventually head to Laguna Woods to see GG and GP. However, we made a quick stop over at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach on our way. Neither Josh nor I had ever visited this particular aquarium, so we thought it would be a fun family excursion for the day. And what made the day even better was that my sorority sister, Andrea, and her boyfriend Michael, were able to accompany us.
The aquarium was fun and very interactive for the kids. They loved running from tank to tank to explore the sea life. There were penguins, sea otters, seahorses, jelly fish, sharks, manta rays and tons of fish. We even ran into Aiden's Jedi Trainer from Disneyland. On her off days, she performs in the kids programs at the aquarium. Aiden loved that she was at both locations.
After exploring the aquarium, we walked over to Yard House for lunch and beer with our friends. We then said our goodbyes and headed south to Laguna Woods. What a fantastic day!
