This year, we didn't host a Rosh Hashanah dinner. Instead, we joined Chris and Jen at their home before temple services on the first night. It was so fun observing how another Jewish family celebrates the holiday. The only frame of reference that I had was the way that Josh and I had celebrated. It was nice to know that our celebrations are very similar to others.
With our backyard finally complete, we were able to host everyone during Sukkot for Shabbat. It was fun to welcome everyone into our sukkah to shake the lulav and estrog while enjoying some homemade challah and wine by candlelight.
