We had a fabulous 4th of July this year. Rose's mother has a home in Avila Beach, so we were able to use her house as our meet-up point. We spent the entire afternoon swimming and soaking in the sun. After swimming, we enjoyed a fabulous dinner on the back patio. And then we retired to the front patio to watch the sun set over Avila Beach. It was perfect way to enjoy the holiday. Family, friends, good food and wine, good conversation in a relaxing atmosphere. The only other thing that we could have asked for would have been fireworks, but they were cancelled due to COVID-19. But, still overall a wonderful holiday celebration.
