On this Christmas Eve, like many years prior, we invited over family and friends to celebrate the holiday with us. Chili and many accompaniments were served. Lawn/patio games were played. The Grinch Who Stole Christmas was read by Papa Farrell while the kids listened intently. Prizes were won when the adults unwrapped gifts using oven mittens. Some gifts were exchanged. And drinks were enjoyed around the fire-table outside. The evening embodied the true spirit of Christmas -- family and friends spending time together, laughing and having fun. We couldn't be more blessed.
