Hanukkah 2017

Hanukkah was a tad hectic this year for our family.  Sadly, for most of the nights of Hanukkah we had holiday activities that didn't allow us to spend Hanukkah together.  However, we were able to celebrate Hanukkah for nights six and eight.

On the six night of Hanukkah, we celebrated with the Landers family.  We lighted the candles.  Ate latkes and doughnuts.  And opened gifts.  It was a fun way to experience Hanukkah together.

On the last night of Hanukkah, we enjoyed Hanukkah at home, just the four of us.  We each lighted a menorah.  For dinner, we tried latke grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup.  We decided that we loved them!  That will definitely be a new family Hanukkah tradition moving forward.  We opened our last gifts.  We all changed into our Hanukkah pajamas.  And finished the evening watching a Netflix show (Trollhunters) as a family.  The perfect way to end Hanukkah.
