Now that the kids are much older, we no longer have to schedule their well checks near their birthdays. In fact, I am pretty sure that Aiden didn't even have a well check visit in 2017 because his birthday fell during the craziness of back to school. Oh well! So, I decided it was best to schedule their well checks together during the summer in between all of their vacations. Hopefully, this is an annual timeline we can all keep moving forward.
Both kids are doing well. Aiden weighed 47 pounds and is about 47 inches tall. Madilyn weighed 53 pounds and is about 50 inches tall. They are both in the 50th percentile in weigh and height.
Since the first week of July was already being used for preventive health measures, I scheduled the kids for their bi-annual dentist visit as well. The kids are becoming such good patients. They willingly hop into the dentist chair for the cleaning and examination. No tears, no fuss. Their favorite part of their visit to the dentist is picking out a trinket from the treasure chest and that they do not have to brush their teeth that night due to the fluoride treatment. My favorite part of the visit -- no cavities!
