Vancouver ~ Day 3

Our last day in Vancouver was spent sightseeing and bicycling around the city.  What a gorgeous day  for this ten mile ride.  There was a slight breeze and the sun shone brightly.  We started our adventous day at the Vancouver Convention Center and rented our bikes.  We then followed the Seaside Bike route which led us into Stanley Park.  In Stanley Park, we stopped to appreciate the intricately carved totem poles.

We then hopped back on our bicycles and pedaled our way around the seawall to English Bay where we encountered the magnificent A-maze-ing Laughter statues.  These fourteen statues immediately brought smiles to our face, just as the artist intended, I'm sure.

We concluded our ride by crossing the bridge onto Grandville Island where we enjoyed noshing and shopping around its Public Market.

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation to Vancouver.  It was the perfect blend of adventure, relaxation and culture.  Hope to one day visit again.
