Lower Antelope Canyon

On Monday, before our long road trip home to Phoenix, Josh and I decided to tour the Lower and Upper Antelope Canyons, which are located on Navajo land near Page, Arizona.  Neither Josh or I had ever visited these acclaimed slot canyons, so we took the opportunity to sight-see.  We thoroughly enjoyed our time in each of the canyons.  We toured the Lower Antelope in the morning before the heat penetrated into the canyons.  And luckily, we had a very fun tour guide.  She was an ASU student working for the summer at home for her tribe.  She assisted us in taking pictures, giving us fun facts about the canyon and filling us in about student life in Tempe.

Words cannot describe how beautiful these natural wonders are.  We loved seeing how the light entered the canyon as we progressed through the tour.  It is amazing what a little rainwater can create.  So glad we took a moment to check these out!
