With our hectic October traveling schedule, we spent Sukkot at home on the patio this year. The kids were a little disappointed that we didn't go to the temple, but their satisfaction returned when we agreed to watch a movie as a family. Turned out to be just what we all needed.
However, we did attend the Simchat Torah celebration at Temple Kol Ami. The kids love dancing around with the Torah. I love watching the Torah as we unroll it as a congregation. It is a pretty cool sight to see. Definitely, one of my favorite Jewish holidays.
